A number of Nigerian Afrobeats superstars have earned nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy released the shortlist on Friday evening, with Davido and Omah Lay securing nominations for Best African Music Performance through their collaboration “With You.”
The category also features Burna Boy’s “Love,” Ayra Starr and Wizkid’s joint track “Gimme Dat,” as well as entries from Eddy Kenzo, Mehran Matin, and Tyla.
Burna Boy, already a Grammy winner, received an additional nomination for Best Global Music Album with his project “No Sign of Weakness.”
