
The Black Starlets of Ghana have arrived in Cote d’Ivoire ahead of the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations.
Led by head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, the team touched down on Tuesday, September 16, ahead of the competition, which will be staged in Yamoussoukro. Most of the matches will be played at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.
Ghana has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Niger, and Togo. The Starlets open their campaign against Togo on September 20, face Cote d’Ivoire on September 23, and wrap up the group stage with a clash against Niger on September 26.
The tournament, which runs from September 20 to October 3, 2025, will also serve as qualifiers for the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
