Applicants seeking to join the country’s security services Police, Prisons, Immigration, and Fire Service in the ongoing 2025/26 recruitment exercise must upload a biometric birth certificate, their Ghana Card, and relevant academic certificates to the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP), organisers have announced.

The notice outlines the key requirements for applicants to the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Prisons Service. It states that all applicants must provide basic biographic (bio), geographic (geo), and academic information as part of the recruitment process.

Mandatory documents include a passport-sized photograph on a red or white background, a biometric birth certificate, a JHS certificate, and an SSCE/WASSCE or equivalent certificate. Applicants with higher qualifications must also upload their tertiary or professional certificates.

To address a common challenge, the notice clarifies that the portal will accept affidavits for Change of Name or Maiden Name, but will not accept affidavits for change of age a measure aimed at reducing age falsification in security sector recruitment.

Applicants are additionally required to provide their Ghana Card number, Ghana Post GPS address, and an active phone number and email address for verification and communication.

This strengthened digital application system forms part of the government’s broader C-SERP initiative, which seeks to centralise and streamline recruitment into internal security agencies. The goal is to enhance transparency and eliminate the activities of middlemen who exploit job seekers.

The portal opens for applications at 12 noon today, Monday, November 17, 2025, and closes on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Prospective applicants are advised to prepare all required documents and ensure they meet the technical standards including a maximum file size of 1.5 MB per upload in PNG or JPG formats before submitting applications via https://cserpgh.com.
