The Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church have officially confirmed the passing of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo.
According to a statement, he passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Apostle Safo was widely celebrated as a man of God, an innovator, philanthropist, and industrialist.
“With profound sorrow and deepest grief, the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce the peaceful transition of Ghana’s beloved man of God, an extraordinary technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist,” the statement said.
Revered as a pioneer in Ghana’s industrial and technological advancement, Apostle Safo was also recognized for his humanitarian works and groundbreaking innovations under the Kantanka brand.
The family described him as “a true genius, a beacon of hope for many, and a father to the fatherless.”
The statement, signed by his daughter and former Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, noted that funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. It also appealed to the public to respect the family’s privacy during this period of mourning.
Apostle Safo leaves behind a remarkable legacy of faith, innovation, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to technology, agriculture, and community development.
